What is a Bereavement Doula
As a bereavement doula, I am an End-of-Life non-medical, “companion”, whose primary job is to offer an extra layer of care and emotional support before, during, and after a death. Talking to a professional doula about your loss can help you navigate your grief and “jumpstart” your personal healing process. I will also help with resources in the area to cover the needs of the family. ie. photographer, funeral homes, contacting family, and more. My calling is to support the family in as many ways as I can.
Service fee Free (donations accepted)
As a bereavement doula or a “loss doula,” I will walk with, support, and help you and your family to process the loss of your baby. Whether that loss is through miscarriage, stillbirth, or a diagnosis which may lead to the baby not living long after delivery.
I will also support those who have already lost a baby and have not had an opportunity to process it.
